One of my Corporate Awards and Trophies commissioned by Bord Iascaigh Mhara to celebrate a colleagues career.
This piece was designed around a Jesse Mayer Garden Fish Sculpture and personalised for client by the inclusion of Liscannor Stone which had a special relevance to the recipient.
The design was conceived to imagine the fish swimming underwater and showcase the pattern of the stone.
The Iroko base was carved to represent a sandy seabed.
“I am delighted to let you know that everyone really likes your beautiful sculpture.
I myself really like the way you brought an inanimate fish to life and can visualise it swimming between the rocks. The carving and craftsmanship of the wood into the seabed is beautiful.”
