Copper Bloom

Copper Bloom, was a private commission designed as a feature piece of Garden Art Sculpture and focal point in client’s garden designed in Stainless Steel & Copper

The trunk and branches of Copper Bloom are Stainless Steel and have been welded to give the textured bark finish seen in nature.

Copper Bloom was also fitted with a series of feeders in Stainless Steel to attract garden birds to the tree.

The position and shape of the branches reflects the random, yet balanced, forms found in the forest.

The Copper Bloom leaves were individually cut and shaped by hand, welded to stainless steel stems with and given a brushed finish.

These leaves will ‘bloom’ in time to natural green tones.

Copper Bloom stands 2.6 metres tall, recessed on solid plinth underground.
