Steel Life

Steel Life is one of my unique Garden Sculptures handmade in Mild Steel with highly polished Stainless Steel leaves.

Steel Life was designed as a focal point for the client’s patio garden space and was mounted on a granite pillar.

The mild steel, now grey, will rust over time to a bronze rust patina.

The three highly polished stainless steel leaves fan out from mild steel frame. They have been shaped and welded to show detail of midrib and veins on each leaf.

The Stainless Steel leaves were designed to flex in the breeze and will reflect shapes and colours surrounding them in the garden.
