Student Enterprise Awards 2026

I was delighted to have the opportunity again this year to design the prestigious Student Enterprise Awards for the Overall Winners of the Student Enterprise Programme 2026.

The Student Enterprise Programme is one of a number of initiatives that the Local Enterprise Offices run to foster entrepreneurship across the country.

The design was based on the concept of a ‘different perspective’. It is intended to recognise those who approach challenges from different perspectives, demonstrating imagination and originality in developing innovate solutions and products.

The award features a circle crafted from stainless steel, which twists off its central axis. When viewed from the front, the piece appears as a simple geometric shape, but as it rotates, it reveals a variety of angles.

This transformation underscores the underlying theme of imagination and innovation.

The stainless-steel circles were polished to a mirror finish with a contrasting sateen finish for the outer edges and inner core, on a lacquered walnut base.
