LUNA

The ‘LUNA’ Stainless Steel Sculpture is inspired by the ever-changing phases of the Moon, a constant presence during my time at sea.

Crafted from Stainless Steel and Copper circles, ‘LUNA’ forms a striking sphere with an open center.

As it rotates, the copper ‘Spring’ full moon side alternates with the stainless steel ‘Nighttime’ side, creating a dynamic visual contrast.

The sculpture rests on a scalene crescent-shaped base, featuring a blend of Stainless Steel and brushed Copper, and rotates on a sealed bearing within the base.

Dimensions – 250mm diameter x 60mm in depth.   Crescent shape base – 470mm x 180mm – both with a lacquered finish.

Luna has been designed as two elements which come apart for shipping or storage.
