Ballymaloe Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition 2025

Northwind Stainless Steel & Copper Sculpture from the Cardinal Leaf Sculpture Collection on view at the Ballymaloe Sculpture Exhibition 2025 by Grant Designs

The 11th annual Ballymaloe Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition curated by Richie Scott, the owner of Richard Scott Sculpture Gallery is now open for the summer months.

I was delighted to have my sculpture, Northwind, selected for this exclusive event.

The exhibition features 39 stunning sculptures by 29 Irish and International artists, many of whom have exhibited every year since the beginning.

Northwind is designed to draw light, reflect its natural environment, and give a sense of wellbeing and comfort, both visually and physically.

The three larger leaves in Northwind are brushed Copper, shaped to appear as if twisting in the breeze. The contrasting smaller Stainless Steel leaves provide balance and are polished to a mirror finish to reflect light and their surroundings.

This striking Outdoor Exhibition on the grounds of Ballymaloe House Hotel in Co Cork showcases depictions of nature, people and objects, brought to life through a wide range of materials and artistic styles.

The summer-long Sculpture Exhibition runs until August 31st, 2025, inviting visitors to explore the thoughtfully curated collection of artworks set amidst the scenic landscape.

Open daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm for self-guided tours.

During June and July Richie hosts a weekly “walk and talk” through the sculptures where he tells the stories behind the artworks, the artists and the materials used.

These one hour talks take place @ 11am on Fridays, starting on June 20th.

Details of all Artworks can be found in the
