I am delighted to be unveiling ‘Pirouette‘, one of my Dance Series of Conceptual Sculptures, at The Kilkenny Art Gallery as part of the Kilkenny Arts Festival 2024.
‘Pirouette’ aims to capture the essence of movement and grace, seamlessly blending a trio of dancers into one fluid expression of elegance.
Each poised on their tiptoes, they whirl around one another with effortless precision, their movements synchronized to the rhythm of their music.
As you circle the sculpture, each aspect reveals a different glimpse of the figures in an array of three-dimensional poses.
The contrasting reflections of light further accentuate the complexity of the forms creating a subtle balance of illumination and shadow.

My ‘Eclipse‘ Nautical Sculpture inspired by the shape of sails when caught by the wind, is also on view at The Kilkenny Art Gallery this week.
This abstract Yacht Sculpture is designed with a unique and visually intriguing shape, which reflects her surroundings and catches the light.
Both my sculptures are designed and created in Marine Grade Stainless Steel.
